Ohio's Open Doors Special Presentation at Bethel Museum

On Saturday, Sept. 19th from 10am - 4pm, the Bethel Historical Society will feature a special presentation of a local Civil War soldier James McMurchy, from Bethel, Ohio.

James was a POW and survivor of Andersonville Prison Camp in southwest Georgia where tens of thousands of Union soldiers were confined (1864-1865). James kept a secret diary which will be on display on Ohio's Open Doors Day at the Bethel Historical Museum, 235 W. Plane Street, Bethel, Ohio 45106 in Clermont County.
